Born in Río Piedras (which is the largest district of San Juan, Puerto Rico), daddy Yankee whose full and original name is Ramón Luis Ayala Rodríguez was born on the 3rd of February in the year 1977.

The young daddy Yankee’s earlier professional ambition as a teenager was to become a Major League Baseball player, and he definitely got a chance with Seattle Mariners.

In 2005, he won several awards that include 8 nominations and 7 awards for “Gasolina” at the second edition of Premios Juventud, and nominations for “Gasolina” at the Latin Grammy and MTV Video Music Awards.
He also won the Album of the Year for (Barrio Fino) at the Lo Nuestro Awards, Reggaeton Album of the Year at the Latin “Billboard” Awards.
As at 2017, daddy Yankee had amassed more than 270 nominations and won 82 awards from it.

He released his first Latin trap singles titled (Hielo) and (Vuelve) in 2018.
